I’ve come across a lot of favorites this week that I thought I’d share.
ONE. The Happy Zombie posted about creating a “Mobile Sewing Center” using a huge tool box from the Home Depot. I love that you can take everything you need with you all together in one place. Brilliant!
TWO. I found this quilt, the “Estrellas Escher” by Artepatchwork, posted on Pinterest. Let me just say, WOW!!! I haven’t found the pattern, yet, but from what I can tell it’s the same square block repeated over and over. I think it might be from this book, but I’m not sure.
THREE. It’s a good think I have a new little nephew, because the “Livingston” pullover by Nadia Cretin-Lechenne (who, by the way, has a bunch of other awesome patterns) is adorable! If I get to it soon enough I should be able to make it in a small size…quick and cute!
FOUR. The Cargo Duffle Pattern is FREE!!! There is even a sew-along going on the C’est la vie blog, and the pattern designer has posted some tips on her own blog, noodlehead. I love that its a big enough bag for an overnight trip and that it uses many different fabrics all together. Not sure when I’ll get to it, but it is definitely on my to-make list!
FIVE. I’m sure you loved the movie “Frozen” as much as I did and love singing along with the soundtrack (I’ve even caught Troy singing “Let it Go” with the boys)! Well, now there is a super hilarious “honest trailer” available for it. I laughed the whole way through. And, now, I need to watch the movie again!
And, because today is Pi Day (3.14159…) I’ll leave you with this:
